More Training
All of our doctors have been trained in a hospital-based General Practice Residency program (GPR) with advanced emphasis on anesthesia, medicine, surgery and trauma care. Most general practice dentists do not have this additional training.
Special Patients
Our GPR and continuing training allow us to provide care for the medically compromised patient including hospitalized patients and operating room services. Our location on a hospital campus makes this service convenient.
Levels of Comfort
Many apprehensive patients require special treatment. We can provide enhanced relaxation through nitrous oxide or intravenous sedation during treatment. Most general practices in our area do not provide these types of sedation.
3 Heads Are Better Than One
Complicated treatment plans are often discussed with all of our doctors to bring alternative options to each case. This sharing of ideas is easily accomplished in a three partner practice. Patients can only benefit from multiple options.
Personalized Selection
We have three doctors and six dental hygienists with similar training and varied personalities. Our patients are encouraged to request the health care provider that they feel comfortable working with.
Lateral Scheduling
We have up to four dental hygienists present on any day. This allows us to schedule up to four family members at the same time instead of consecutively. Lateral scheduling could save a family several hours of waiting for cleanings over practices with one or two hygienists.
Easy Access
A three doctor office is almost never closed during normal business hours, even if one or two doctors are out. This means that your records are always available to a dental staff member that you know, without waiting for your doctor to return from an extended absense.
Timely Treatment
Our large staff and three doctors allow us to almost always see an emergency patient on the same day they call. We also offer some evening hours for our patients with less flexible schedules.
Location Location Location
Our location in the Wood County Hospital Medical Building places us within yards of a pharmacy, oral surgeon, pediatric dentist and many of our medical colleagues. We also have almost unlimited parking with all-weather parking lot shuttle service.
